For over 13 years, An drove sustainability from the inside out — serving as the very first sustainability manager at Barco, Vandemoortele, and Durabilis.
She knows first-hand how to embed sustainability into every function, process, and decision of a company — not just as a project, but as a long-term value driver.

An combines corporate experience with strong academic credentials: she holds a master and PhD in bioscience engineering from Ghent University and completed a masterclass B2B marketing & sales at Vlerick Business School. She recently joined the Research Centre for Sustainable Organizations of HOGENT, as a part-time lecturer and researcher in sustainability measuring and reporting.
